Tucson Veterans Hospital

Tucson Veterans Administration Hospital

Patriotism is alive and well at the San Manual School System in part due to the efforts and leadership of Deb Mansager, a teacher in the system and wife of Drew Mansager, Southern Arizona District Marshal.  Deb organized a campaign in the system to collect comfort items and toiletries for the patients at the Tucson VA hospital and also for homeless veterans.  The students also hand wrote over 100 Christmas cards for the patients. I helped Drew deliver 11 boxes of donations to the hospital before Christmas.  It was a very pleasant task.  On behalf of the Knights of Columbus "Serving Those Who Served" program, the patients and homeless veterans, Thank You, Deb for instilling a sense of patriotism in our youth and for helping our veterans.  Thank you to the students in San Manuel for your dedication and support of our veterans.

Sincerely,

James Maino, FDM
Tucson VA Hospital, Knights of Columbus Representative

January 2016 Fourth Degree Exemplification - Tucson

Worthy District Deputies, Grand Knights and Faithful Navigators,
The next Fourth Degree Exemplification will take place January 9, 2016 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tucson.
Hotel Reservations can be made by clicking on the link below
The Fourth Degree is the most visible arm of the Knights of Columbus and represents the last principal of the order: Patriotism. This includes promoting responsible citizenship and love and loyalty to their country.

Members of the Fourth Degree are asked to participate to serve in the Honor Guard, which serves at civic and religious functions.

All 3rd Degree members are highly encouraged to further their advancement in to the order by becoming a Fourth Degree member. Members who wear the emblem of the degree are committed to conduct themselves honorably as Catholic gentlemen in both their private and public life as well as patriotically for the good of the country. The Fourth Degree sword represents their reverence for the Eucharist and the Pope, Bishops, and hierarchy of the church, and displays publicly his willingness to protect the Church and Priests.

The host assembly is Msgr. James T. Weber Assembly 2152 with the Class Honoree Sir Knight Armand Martin Ronstadt. Please see the attached documents for more information or go to the Masters Fourth Degree Website at  http://www.az4thdegree.org/p/exemplifications.html for more information.

Note: All forms can be filled out on your computer then printed. This is the preferred method to ensure legibility.

At this time when our way of life is being challenged both locally and globally, we ask that all men rise up to answer the call of becoming a Fourth Degree member to show that we will publicly defend both our rights and religious responsibilities.

Vivat Jesus!
