Results of Chrism Mass Call Out, Bishop Gomes Assembly #1805 wins a $50.00 Gift Certificate!

Worthy VSM, FSM, PMFDs, FNs and CCCs,

We mustered 20 Sir Knights in Regalia at the Chrism Mass last evening at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral!  It was quite the event with the Knights of Columbus leading in the Knights of Malta, Knights of the Holy Sepulcher, numerous deacons, priests altar servers and our Auxiliary Bishop Nevares (Bishop Olmsted was home sick).   This doesn't even count all of the Sir Knight priests and deacons and our FSM and our Vice Supreme Master marching in with the Knights of Malta.  There were also numerous Third Degree members participating in and at the Mass.

I will be visiting with Bishop Gomes Assembly #1805 at their next meeting on the 20th to present a $50.00 Gift Certificate due to the fact that they had FIVE Sir Knights in regalia at the Chrism Mass.  FN Rich Ryan, CCC Frank Atherton and 3 other Sir Knights represented their Assembly quite well!  Fr. Juan Padilla Assembly 1989 in Mesa responded with 4 Sir Knights in regalia.  Thank you for coming so very far.  Marcos De Niza Assembly #11 showed with 3 Sir Knights.  There were several other Assemblies with 2 or one Sir Knights.  thank you all for giving a Monday evening to such a worthy cause.  Every time oil is used this year to anoint somebody, know that we participated in that blessing by our participation in this Mass!

Your Assembly has another chance at a $50.00 gift certificate with your participation at your parish call out.  I will require a photo and a number of participants.  If your Sir Knights turns out in tuxedo and social baldrick and marches with you, they COUNT!

I want to wish you a Happy and Joyous Eater Season from the Master and Marshals and our wives.

Vivat Jesus!
